Texie used to roam around the construction site CTEX, hence her name. She came into our care when she was a puppy and that was, let’s see… one, two, three… eights years ago 
Can you believe how long she has been waiting for someone to adopt her?
Over the years we have seen her grow into a happy, social, and strong lady. She’s an easy-going gal who will fit right into most households. She enjoys being around other pets and she is good with kids. As we said, she was rescued from a construction site. That was a lifetime ago, and she is ready to build her future with a forever family!
As much as our volunteers love her, we would love it even more for her to be adopted before she has to spend another holiday season sitting, waiting, wishing.
