This week we are putting the spotlight on Mama Maggy. Back in May, we were able to rescue Maggy off the streets. She was highly pregnant at the time. We think her owners may have gotten rid of her when they found out she was expecting puppies.

Because we were able to rescue her, Maggy didn’t have to give birth on the streets. She delivered her ten (10!) puppies in a safe and comfortable foster home. All of her puppies have since been adopted ― it’s just Maggy who’s still hoping to find her forever home!
A bit more about Maggy. She is about 1,5 years old, so still very young. Maggy has been spayed and is up-to-date with vaccinations. She weights a healthy 15 kilo, which is about 33 pounds. She’s a medium-sized dog.

Our volunteers say that Maggy is:

  • Sweet and friendly
  • Easy going
  • Beautiful, affectionate, playful
  • Full of personality
  • Perfect!

(Virtually) Adopting Maggy

Maggy was a wonderful mom and now that her puppies have all been adopted, it is her turn to find a wonderful home. Her holiday wish is to find a loving home where she can lounge around on cushy dog beds, get lots of yummy treats, and spend plenty of time basking in the sun with her new family! Can you make her wish come true? Contact carf.adoption@gmail.com for more info.

PS: You can’t adopt her, but you would like to become Maggy’s Secret Santa? You can! This holiday season, please consider virtually adopting a CARFIE for a month, or even a full year! You will receive your printable adoption certificate per mail ― perfect as a gift! Click here for more info. #CARFSecretSanta
