Our CARFIE Of The Week is Plumber. He came into our care 17 weeks ago. Before that, he was living with a family that also had a second dog. Sadly, this dog passed away and Plumber lost his best friend. The loss of his friend hit him hard, he missed his buddy so much!
Plumber’s family asked us if we could take care of Plumber since they no longer had enough time to give him the attention he needs and deserves. Plumber is used to other dogs, people and children. When he was living with his previous family, he used to walk freely in the garden. He’s not fully comfortable yet to walk on a leash, but we’re currently working on this. Since Plumber is still young, we expect no problems with getting him used to walking on a leash.
Plumber is 1 year and 9 months old. He has been vaccinated, micro-chipped, and has had a healthy check done by our vet. He’s a wonderful, friendly, happy family dog. He would prefer to find a forever house where his owners have a lot of time for him and / or where he has another dog to play with.
