Annie update!!
It’s been a week already since we received a cry for help from North American tourists. They had visited Annie 3 days in a row - had been looking and asking everywhere around the neighborhood if somebody was taking care of her for 3 days - and noticed Annie became weaker and weaker by the minute. They had to do something to prevent her from dying a lonely death and rushed her to the vet who put her on a drip immediately and confirmed she probably would not have survived another night ?
Multiple vet visits, drips, electrolytes, feedings every 2 hours and alarm clocks in the middle of the night followed. It was a rough week, but every little wag of her tail makes us smile. She still has a very long way to go, but she is a little fighter. Thanks to the tourists who went above and beyond there will be a tomorrow for Annie ?
Her medical bills have been covered so far, but many more will follow before she will be completely up on her feet again. Please help us help:
