Saartje is a medium-sized female dog around 3 years old. She is a sweet and affectionate girl but her current home is too hectic for her and she needs a quieter place.
Saartje is great with people and other dogs. She loves to cuddle and play but she also likes her chill time and would love a peaceful and tranquil environment. She is used to being around kids and young people so would fit in fine with a family, couple or a single person.

Sunny & Star...
??? Sunny & Star ???
Sunny & baby Star also had their scheduled check ups yesterday. Sunny has to continue on 2 separate treatments of antibiotics for a while longer and we will then proceed to spay her and provide first chemo treatment for her TVT.
Sunny is such a kind and loving doggy. She’s a caring momma to her baby.
Baby Star is doing well, estimated at approx. 5 weeks she clocked in at 1,15 kgs. She’s weaned and loves her wet puppy kibble. Star is super cute, affectionate and lively.
Sunny and Star still both require extensive vetting and any and all financial help you are able to provide would be much appreciated.
We make a little go a long way.

JORIS zoekt een THUIS (Nederland)...
Joris is een vrolijke jongen van 3 jaar oud. Hij is heel aanhankelijk; echt een enorme knuffelhond. Hij verblijft bij een fostergezin met kids, 2 andere honden en een kat in Velp (Nederland). Hij heeft zich heel gemakkelijk aangepast. Liep na een paar dagen al los mee op de bos- en strandwandelingen en wordt met de dag zelfverzekerder. Ontmoetingen met voor hem onbekende honden vindt hij nog wel wat spannend, maar ook daarbij komt hij steeds meer los. Joris wil het graag goed doen en hecht zich snel. Met zijn schofthoogte van ongeveer 47 cm zit hij aan de onderkant van medium.

? Sandy turned up recently at Campo Alegre. She ran into the complex covered in blood with several bite wounds ?.
As Sandy was in heat, we think that she was probably defending herself from male dogs when she was injured. Sandy was cared for by a very kind and compassionate young woman who kept her safe and comforted her until we could pick her up.
To avoid more unwanted puppies, we spayed Sandy as soon as possible. We were relieved to discover that this sweet little girl does not have tick fever and she is also heartworm free. Her wounds are superficial and will heal in a matter of weeks.
It’s very clear that Sandy was not always a street dog. She likes to sit on your lap and is super affectionate. At just 11 kg, she’s small for an island dog and we think that there’s at least a little bit of Chihuahua in her genes.
Sandy is about 18 months old and will easily make the transition back to a loved household pet. She is now spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. If you’d like to meet her, please email carf.adoption@gmail.com ?

�After a pretty rough few days, our amazing senior Zelda is feeling so much better! She’s been on a double dose of antibiotics for a week and it looks like it has worked. She’s even been doing some old lady zoomies and playing with her foster brother ?
The bad news (for us) is that Zelda’s medication is expensive. She’s just halfway through a 9-week course of Doxycycline (for tick fever) and she’s also going to need some teeth removed as soon as she’s up to the surgery.
Can you help us out with vital medication for Zelda and our other CARFIES? If you’re coming to visit Curacao, maybe you could ask your local vet for donations or for recently expired medication? The meds that we need the most are:

Milbactor
Enrofloxoral
