? Welcome to the ever-growing CARF family, Sabrina! This sweet, small girl is only a few months old and recently came into our care with a broken hip due to being hit by a car. We have brought her to see our vet where X-rays were made, and unfortunately, her fracture is quite complicated. In consultation with the orthopedist, we will weigh all options and decide which procedure is best for her.
? In the meantime, she will be treated with strict cage rest and pain relief. She is also receiving antibiotics for a slightly abnormal blood cell count which is not related to Ehrlichia (tick disease).
? Despite her bad luck, she is a big cuddle bug who can't stop wagging her tail! We believe that she knows that she is in good hands and grateful for all the love, care, and attention she is receiving.
