Another Day in Paradise | Welcoming New Puppies to the CARF Family
Things might have seemed quiet on our end these last few weeks. But in between our “normal” daily responsibilities towards our CARFIES, we have been busier than ever.
Please welcome just a fraction of the new puppies we have taken on and which have joined the CARF family. We have been working so hard on getting them ready for vetting. Treating bloody stool, skin issues, getting rid of intestinal parasites, you name it. All these pups have now been vetted, meaning they have been age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed (twice), micro-chipped, and treated for tick and fleas.
This is a desperate plea to all our supporters near and far. Please share these adorable little puppies so that we can find them responsible lifetime homes. Either on or off shore.
The veterinary expenses we are incurring with these babies are huge. We are feeding them proper puppy kibble and providing all the necessary supplies like bowls, pens, crates (for crate training) toys, collars, leashes etc.
The vetting alone for each pup has cost us to date approximately Nafl. 150, which equals US$85 or €75. We are in dire need of your generosity to help us cover these expenses. We have over 150 dogs in our care!

Wellicht leek het de afgelopen weken heel stil aan onze kant. Maar in alle werkelijkheid hadden wij het naast alle dagelijkse verantwoordelijkheden naar onze CARFIES, drukker dan ooit.
Wij hebben onlangs een hele nieuwe lading pups opgenomen. We hadden er onze handen vol aan om de puppiy's gezond genoeg te krijgen voor de nodige vaccinaties. Ze hadden allemaal allerlei parasieten, huid aandoeningen, bloederige ontlasting, etc.
Inmiddels zijn al deze knapperds grondig onderzocht door onze dierenartsen en voorzien van alle nodige prikjes, ontwormingskuren, tekenbehandelingen en micro-chips.
Nu zijn we naarstig op zoek naar veilige en liefdevolle adoptie (of foster) gezinnen voor deze schatjes!
Het opnemen van deze kleintjes heeft ook de nodige kosten met zich meegebracht. Elke pup heeft tot nu aan medische handelingen alleen al ongeveer Nafl. 150 (zo'n €85,-) gekost. We hebben het niet over puppy brokjes en alle andere benodigheden zoals bakjes, halsbandjes, riempjes, speeltjes, benches en puppy rekjes.
Mocht u iets kunnen missen om te helpen met de dierenarts kosten zouden wij dat enorm op prijs stellen. Alle beetjes helpen en samen staan we nog sterker!

We really don’t know what to say, think or do anymore. This is totally out of control. 5 pups “dropped” by the side of the road in the blazing sun with only the plastic crate they left them in for some protection from the elements. It took us 3 days and several attempts to secure all of them as they were hiding in the thorny bushes.
Please find it in your heart to make a donation towards their medical expenses, donate funds, a bag of puppy kibble, puppy toys, a bottle of clorox, kitchen paper towels ....

We weten het echt even niet meer. Moedeloos, radeloos, wanhopig, noem maar op !
Weer 5 pups even aan de kant van de weg afgezet in de blakende zon. Alleen een plastic kratje als bescherming. Verscholen in de onbegaanbare mondi - 3 dagen en verschillende pogingen later zijn ze gelukkig alle 5 veilig.
We hebben heel hard uw hulp nodig, bent u in de gelegenheid om een donatie te doen voor hun medische kosten, een zak pupvoer te kopen, een fles chloor, keukenrollen, alles is welkom.

This stunning beauty got her first chemo session today for a TVT - we also did bloodwork again. She was so relaxed and well behaved ?
She rocked the chemo (and BFF Sandy was there as moral support) but needs another few weeks of antibioticis for high GLOBS. Luckily she is no longer anemic.
Loela is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on monthly parasite prevention.
She is a strong (23 kgs) active young lady who would love to do agility. She thrives on attention and is very loyal.

Hallo allemaal, hier Moonchi. Paar weekjes geleden hadden ze een berichtje over me gepost....
Ik zoek dus nog mijn gouden mandje. In Nederland welteverstaan, want ik woon nu bij fosters in Almere. Mijn fosters hebben me hieronder kort beschreven.
“Moonchi is echt een schat. Hij houdt enorm van knuffelen en aandacht. Hij is heel erg leergierig en vindt trainingen met beloningen interessant. Moonchi blijft de buitenwereld nog wat spannend vinden. Hij is wel heel sociaal. Als er mensen op visite komen, kan hij heerlijk genieten van de aandacht en knuffels die hij krijgt.
Wij denken dat hij het beste tot zijn recht komt bij een gezin, waar de gezinsleden veel tijd en aandacht aan hem kunnen besteden en met hem willen trainen. Bij voorkeur wonend in een huis met een tuin; hij vindt het namelijk heerlijk om in ons tuintje te liggen.”
