We can't imagine that it will take long for Jill to find someone who wants to adopt her. She is so sweet, so adorable, so playful and oh-so cuddly. Honestly, who can say 'no' to this face?
Nou, het regent niet of het giet (letterlijk en figuurlijk!)...
Nog een hele zieke pup. Behalve dat ze zware bloedarmoede heeft en al aan het strugglen was - zo klein en kwetsbaar - werd deze kleine uk ook nog gestoken of gebeten door iets waar ze een hele heftige reactie op heeft gekregen.
41 graden koorts, een enorm gezwel onder haar kin. Niet eten of drinken : dus weer een gevalletje spoed, infuus en extra medicatie. Blikjes Hill’s AD om aan te sterken en lieve fosters die bouillon maken in de hoop dat ze snel zelfstandig weer zal gaan eten.
We vragen nogmaals on hulp on deze onverwachte dierenarts rekeningen te kunnen voldoen - alle beetjes helpen en we zijn dan ook enorm dankbaar voor alle steun en vertrouwen. Sturen jullie veel licht en liefde voor ons klein poppetje ???

We recently had a spay/neuter clinic in collaboration with Dierenwelzijnscentrum Adventure, met zorg voor uw dier, Caribbean Spay Neuter, Dierenbescherming Curacao, Tusken Diken en Feanen Dierenartsenpraktijk.
A small but dedicated team was able to spay and neuter :
61 animals in total !
15 male cats
15 female cats
6 male dogs
25 female dogs
We were able to provide information on proper care and necessary tick/flea/heartworm prevention and the proper post surgery care for the pets.
It was a lovely and successful collaboration between several organizations where the wellbeing of the pets was of utmost importance. Thank you to all who in one way or the other was part of this clinic. We are already planning the next one !

Dear friends and fellow dog lovers. Please join us in wishing a 'Happy Birthday' to Sheila, the founder and driving force behind CARF. Though she prefers to work behind the scenes, we just have to shine a spotlight on this all-star for her birthday! ?
CARF was founded in 2008, but Sheila has been rescuing and re-homing dogs well before our non-profit's official founding date. She still works tirelessly day and night to take care of our CARFIES. She's never fully off duty and gives up so much of her time to make Curaçao a better place for the dogs that live here ??
Sheila is the type of person that never puts herself in the spotlight (we had to twist her arm to let us post this ?), but always makes everything about our dogs. Through her quiet and passionate dedication she has saved the lives of hundreds of abused, abandoned and homeless animals. Sheila is just an amazing lady who deserves great credit for all the hard work she does ?
