MET SPOED: foster in Nederland gezocht...
Jonah is een superslim, aanhankelijk en lief jong ventje van zo'n 8 maanden oud. Omdat hij zo slim is, ligt verveling op de loer. Jonah is dus echt een kereltje dat mentale uitdaging (hersenwerk) nodig heeft. Hij kent alle basiscommando's en vermaakt zich alleen thuis prima in zijn bench met al zijn speeltjes.
Jonah is een grote knuffelkont. Hij is lief voor kinderen, kleine dieren, knaagdieren en kippen. Hij is ook katten gewend. Je zou bijna denken dat Jonah het perfect hondje is, maar zijn eerste weken op straat (Jonah komt van Curacao) hebben zijn zelfvertrouwen wel een deukje gegeven. Hij kan buiten nog weleens schrikken van onbekende dingen en hij heeft zeker begeleiding nodig om zijn zelfvertrouwen te laten groeien.
Jonah is als jonge pup van Curacao naar Zaandam verhuisd en doet het daar eigenlijk hartstikke goed. Alleen de mopshond des huizes loopt hem soms in de weg en daarom hebben zijn baasjes besloten hem te herplaatsen. Met de andere hond, katten, muizen en kippen kan hij het gelukkig prima vinden.
Gezien de thuissituatie zijn we met spoed op zoek naar een fostergezin, van waaruit we Jonah in alle rust kunnen herplaatsen.

MOONCHI ZOEKT FOREVER HOME (VERBLIJFPLAATS: NEDERLAND)...
Wie houdt er van knuffelen? Wie is altijd vrolijk? Moonchi.....!!! Deze relaxte reu van vijf jaar oud zoekt een mensenmaatje om samen van het leven te genieten.
Moonchi woont sinds kort bij een foster in Almere. Zij omschrijven hem als volgt: "Het is echt een schat, houdt heel veel van knuffelen en aandacht. Hij is heel erg leergierig en vindt trainingen met beloningen interessant. Buiten vindt hij het nog wel wat spannend, maar ook dat gaat steeds beter. Hij is heel sociaal, zeker als er mensen langskomen. En naar andere honden buiten ook steeds meer."
Moonchi kan bij een andere hond geplaatst worden, maar vindt het ook helemaal prima als hij de enige hond in huis is.
Op Curacao zwierf Moonchi al maanden over straat, voordat hij bij ons in de opvang terechtkwam. Omdat hij een wat bijzonder “loopje” heeft, zijn er indertijd röntgenfoto’s gemaakt. Hierop was een oude breuk te zien, waarbij zijn heup verbrijzeld is. Het was toen al te lang geleden om er nog iets aan te doen. Moonchi zelf kan er goed mee omgaan. Hij huppelt vrolijk door het leven en laat er verder niks om.

PRESTO ZOEKT EEN FIJN THUIS (VERBLIJFPLAATS: NEDERLAND)...
Presto is een hele lieve, leergierige, maar wat onzekere reu van 3 jaar oud. Een tophond die een topmens zoekt om samen te genieten van het leven. Iemand die begrijpt dat ook bij honden emoties drijfveer zijn voor gedrag en die bereid is om er tijd en energie in te steken om te ontdekken wat past bij Presto. Iemand die kan accepteren dat bepaalde dingen misschien (vooralsnog) beter vermeden kunnen worden, omdat Presto daardoor zo veel lekkerder in zijn vel zit.
Presto kan prima los met andere honden. In huis en aan de riem luistert hij goed. Bezoek vindt hij vaak nog wat spannend, voor zijn “eigen” mensen gaat hij door het vuur.
“Topmens” volgens Presto: je hebt heel veel liefde te geven, je bent geduldig, je hebt geen kids (en ook geen kinderwens), je woont in een huis met tuin bij voorkeur in een rustige omgeving, een hondenvriendje is gezellig, maar hoeft niet, en….je vind het fantastisch om tijd met hem door te brengen en samen op ontdekkingstocht te gaan.

After Kira’s spay yesterday, today was sister Kaydee’s appointment.
Hopefully some day we will live to witness an end to the epidemic of unwanted and discarded pets on this island. And people taking responsibility for their actions!
We receive NO government funding or subsidies and can really use your financial support to cover these indispensable veterinary expenses.
Each spay (including 5 days of pain medication) costs florin 150,00 (approx usd 85 and euro 75).
