? UPDATE: Who doesn't like to start off the weekend with some happy news? We know we do, that's why we want to share a little update with you regarding CARFIE Emma.
? She is doing well in her foster home and although we're still long ways from a full recovery, we see a little progress with every passing day. Emma is looking much better and is more aware of her surroundings. She is eating and drinking well and enjoys the love and attention she is receiving. She is now also able to get up by herself (yay!) but she stands only for very short times. Due to her injured paw she's not able to move much yet.
? Next week, she has another vet appointment to have some xrays of her paw and shoulder done. But albeit slowly, her paw is recovering too and we're hoping to share some more updates regarding her mobility with you soon. Have a nice weekend everyone! ?

? UPDATE: We'd like to start off the weekend with some positive news regarding Emma!
? After her emergency vet visits earlier this week, she has been significantly better. She is eating and drinking well, and she has started lifting her head whenever her foster mom walks into the room. While it might seem like small steps, we like to think that those small steps lead to larger ones.
?? Emma has started to try and move around a bit on her own. Whenever it’s time for us to move her to clean her bed, she is actively trying to push herself up. She can’t move by herself yet, but at least she is trying. She is still very weak but her will to life is strong! Please keep Emma in your thoughts.

? UPDATE 3: Thank you all for your patience, we know that many of you are eagerly waiting for good news regarding Emma.
? We didn't get around to posting anything yesterday, because the day didn’t start off that well. We had to rush Emma back to our vet because her condition seemed to be worsening. She's had another drip and her medications have been adjusted. She is still very frail but she’s fighting for her life with all her might. She seems to be less alert. This morning, she has been drinking well, so at least there is that. We're hoping that her appetite will improve soon.
?? Together with our vet, we are doing absolutely everything in our power to help her pull through. We’ll try to post another update about Emma as soon as we can. Please keep Emma in your thoughts and THANK YOU for your concern, your support, and your donations.
