CARFIE Of The Week: Texie ♀

Three years. That's how long Texie has been waiting for someone to come and adopt her. Texie was just a little puppy when she entered CARF fostercare and over the years we have seen her grown into a happy, social and strong lady. She's an easy going gal who will fit right in to most households.
Texie enjoys being around other pets and she is good with kids as well. She is fully vetted and spayed and would
really like a home of her own. Can you give Texie the furever home she deserves?

For more info about Texie or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

CARFIE Of The Week: Tania ♀

Tania is a female puppy of 15 weeks old. She is good-natured, sweet, friendly and very smart. Tania is ready to move to her forever home and will make her new family the most wonderful pet!
This is what her foster mom had to say about Tania: "Tania loves to cuddle. She's so adorable and it's so cute and funny how she can entertain herself. She is already crate trained and is now learning to walk on a leash."

Although Tania has no problem entertaining herself, she also enjoys playing with other dogs. So if you already have a dog or are looking to adopt two puppies, Tania might be a great pick for you.

For more info about Tania or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

CARFIE OF The Week: Dmitri ♂

Our pup Dmitri is ready to move to his forever home. He's only 14 weeks old but very smart, super sweet and hella handsome! Who has a place in home and heart fort his little sweetheart?
Dmitri has been checked by our vet and he's all up-to-date on his vaccinations. He would love to find a loving individual or family to call his own.

For more info about Dmitri or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

CARFIE Of The WEek: Luke ♂

Luke is a neutered male of approx. 20 months old. Luke has been with CARF since he was a little puppy and he has been waiting for someone to come and adopt him ever since. He has seen many other CARFIES come and go and can’t help but wonder, "when will it be my turn?" and "why not me?” each time another dog leaves. Who's going to make our Luke a Lucky Luke?
Luke is gorgeous and very pleasant to be around. He is patiently waiting for a house to call home and he really doesn't care if he has to share that house with other dogs. His skills include: lounging, playing, being exceedingly patient and calm, and loving you unconditionally.  Honestly, we don't understand why nobody opened their hearts for him yet.

If you have room in your home and your heart, please consider adopting Luke, our long standing residence who day in and day out get passed over for one reason or another – all he needs is a second chance for a happy life. Won’t you help to make that happen?

For more info about Luke or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

CARFIE Of The Week: Luna ♀

Meet Luna. This beautiful lady is friendly and outgoing and enjoys the company of both people and other pets. Luna was born in March 2016. She stayed with her mom and siblings for the first eight weeks and was then adopted by a loving family. Up to this point, her life seemed to be going very smoothly.
Unfortunately, Luna's new family had to leave the island due to unforeseen and sad circumstances and that's how Luna returned to CARF fostercare. Luna is used to family life and being in a home. Although she's doing well with us, we would love to see her in a forever home.

Luna loves humans and furry friends, she is house trained and already knows the basic obedience commands. She would do very well in a family, or with a person with whom she can share her love for long walks and swims. She can jump high fences (when she's looking for her human) so she needs to be supervised when outside.

For more info about Luna or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

[NL] CARF Organiseert Puppy Adoptie Evenement in Jan Sofat

Over CARF

CARFIE Of The Week: Bianca ♀

Sweet, sweet Bianca... what are you still doing here with us? We would have for sure thought that someone would have fallen for your sweet face by now. Bianca is four months old, cute as a button, and she's ready for her forever home. Her sister Bruna has been adopted and is living a happy life in The Netherlands. We are hoping Bianca will find her forever family soon as well.
Bianca is fully vetted and in a couple of months she will be spayed by CARF (costs are included in the adoption fee). On Saturday, June 24th, CARF will host a Puppy Adoption Event in Jan Sofat during which you can meet Bianca and other adoptable puppies.

Bianca would rather go home with her new family today then tomorrow, so please do not hesitate to drop us a message if you would be interested in meeting her.

For more info about Bianca or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

Pupdate: Lucille & Her Litter

Lucille and her little ones are doing great. The puppies are three weeks old today and growing. Lucy, as her foster mommy calls her, is a doting momma dog and uncle Vic (Invictus) is right there to show them the ropes on how to be big pups soon. This is CARFIELOVE at it's best.
With so many pups and other recovering rescues, and depending solely on your donations, if you are able to spare any amount towards their medical expenses we would be so grateful.

Deworming, vaccinations, microchipping, spays and neuters all necessary medical treatments to keep our CARFIES healthy and happy.

Lucille & Her Lucky Number 7

Is this the face of a happy, relieved, thankful and most of all proud momma dog or what ?

Seven lucky, tiny souls and their momma don't have to struggle on the streets. These little ones would have never survived the diseases, hunger, rats and heartless humans. We are so glad we got Lucille in time so she could have her babies in a safe and loving home.

Donations are very welcome. You can use the PayPal button on our website. For local transfers; MCB 21199501 (Beshiweg #1, Willemstad, Curacao). For euro donations, please contact us at stichtingcarf@gmail.com.

We're Almost 9 YEars Old!

Oops! ― if it weren't for friends reminding us, we would have almost forgotten about our 9th Anniversary this Monday! That's right. CARF was founded on May 29th 2008, making us the oldest no-kill rescue organization on the island. Nine years and over a thousand of rescued dogs later, we're still going strong.
We wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for our volunteers, foster families, friends, and sponsors. Thank you for your support over the years!

In case you would like to celebrate our achievements with us, we do have a little wish list at the moment...

All anniversary gifts/donation may be dropped off at Thea Gifts & More at Cas Coraweg 39A. They are open from Monday - Friday from 10:00AM - 1:00PM and from 2:00 - 6:00PM. On Saturday, they are open from 10:00AM - 1:00PM and on Sunday, they are clodes.

CARFIE Of THe Week: Boudino ♂

Are you looking for a handsome puppy to be the next member of the family? This stunning, super-duper-cute boy is friendly, easy-going and looking for his special family. Boudino is friendly to all he meets and he responds well to other dogs. He's approximately 15 weeks old.
Boudino entered CARF's foster program together with his two sisters (Bruna and Bianca). Bruna is moving to the Netherlands soon, and although he's super excited for his sister, all Boudino really wants is to have a family of his own too.

Boudino is up-to-date with his vaccinations and is already microchipped. Neutering when he reaches the age of 6 months is included in our adoption fee.

For more info about Boudino or to set up a meet & greet, please contact stichtingcarf@gmail.com. We will reply to your email as soon as possible.

Homeless Soon-To-Be-Momma Dog Needs Our Help!

Today was véry, véry stressful but at least all those helpless creatures we rescued are safe and loved now. Please welcome Lucille to the ever-growing CARF family. Lucille will have her pups in a safe and clean environment.
She will raise them without having to worry where her next meal will come from. She is the sweetest most docile pup. We estimate her to be around 1,5 years old and this is not her first litter according to the neighborhood people...

Please help us with the medical and food expenses for Lucille and her soon to be born little ones. All donations (no matter how small) will help save lives. Thank you in advance!

You may click the PayPal button on our website to make a monetary donation.

Welcome to Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands...

How sad is this? These dogs could barely stand and are in such pain. We do not have the funds or the space for these dogs but leaving them to die a slow, cruel and painful death was not an option.
They are quarantined and receiving the necessary care. If anyone can help us with donations, we have a wish list. Besides the obvious monetary help we can really use:

  • Hill's AD canned food
  • Organic cold pressed unrefined coconut oil
  • Puppy food (ProPlan or Infinia)
  • Towels and sheets
  • Beds
  • FOSTERHOMES
  • Forever homes for our healthy CARFIES

When will the Public Prosecutor act and fulfill their promises? We have been waiting for too long. Way too long.

For donations, please use the PayPal button on our website. For local transfer, you can use our bank account MCB 21199501 (address: Beshiweg 1, Willemstad, Curaçao). For donations in euros, please contact us per email (stichtingcarf@gmail.com) or Facebook.

Neverending Story...

And then this happened... Nine (9!) pups found abandoned. They are being treated for fleas, worms and giardia.
When is this insanity going to be tackled by the local authorities? This crisis is ongoing and all rescues are at wit's end. Nada no ta kambia!

NOT!

Curaçao, is this how you want to get tourists?

Donations for the care and vetting of these helpless souls are much needed and appreciated:
