CARFIE Of The Week: Plumber

Our CARFIE Of The Week is Plumber. He came into our care 17 weeks ago. Before that, he was living with a family that also had a second dog. Sadly, this dog passed away and Plumber lost his best friend. The loss of his friend hit him hard, he missed his buddy so much!
CARFIE Of The Week: Harley

We're excited to introduce you to Harley! This 5-month old boy has had a rough start in life. He was living by himself in a drainage pipe and things weren't looking good for him. Little did he know his guardian angels were about to show up...
CARFIE Of The Week: Heidi

Back in January, Heidi had the honor to be the very first 'CARFIE Of The Week' of 2020. Well, it's nine months later, and she is still waiting for someone to take her home. It is not too late though ― 2020 can still become Heidi's year! But we are going to need your help to find her a forever family.
CARFIE Of The Week: Bruno

This week, we'd like to introduce you to Bruno. He's a young dog (about two years old) with a lot of potential; he learns quickly and responds well to guidance. Can you help us find this boy his forever family?
CARFIE Of The Week: Linda

This week, we're putting CARFIE Linda in the spotlight. She is about 4,5 years old and has been in our care for the last 2,5 years. Since May, she has been living with her foster family. And as much as she loves her foster family (and vice versa), foster is just a pit stop, with a forever home as the finish line. What do you think, can we get Linda adopted into her ideal home?
CARFIE Of The Week: Pauli

If you want to adopt a sweet and relaxed senior dog, look no further. Pauli is your man. Just look into those brown eyes and let this guy melt your heart!
CARFIE Of The Week: Scarlett

Scarlett is a 3-year old dog who came into our care 1,5 years ago. When we first rescued her, she was pregnant. Fortunately, there was a foster family available and willing to take her in.
CARFIE Of The Week: Willems

Last week, we put CARFIE Baya in the spotlights. This week the honors go to her best friend Willems. He has been in our care since February and is ready to be adopted.
CARFIE Of The Week: Baya

Wow... talk about a glow up! When we rescued Baya back in May, she was mostly skin and bones. She was malnourished, covered in thousands of fleas, and running a high fever. But thanks to our wonderful vets at Claus Clinic and our dedicated volunteers, Baya is looking and feeling much better. Just look at that big smile!
CARFIE Of The Week: Susi

CARFIE Of The Week: Toffey

Meet Toffey, an older boy who's ready to join your family. Toffey is 7.5 years old, so he is mature and is starting to slow down. He has been with CARF for 1.950 days already. We would love for him to find his forever home before the counter gets to 2.000 days. Can you help him find his family?
CARFIE Of The Week: Gina

CARFIE Of The Week: Ashti

This week, we're putting the adorable Ashti in the spotlight. Ashti is a 12-week old puppy, who was rescued together with her siblings. We know, we know, all puppies are cute, but... Ashti might just be one of the cutest puppies you ever saw. She's super affectionate and likes to just sit next to her people, she's really social!
CARFIE Of The Week: Sunshine

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray... Adoptable CARFIE Sunshine brings lots of joy and happiness into the lives of our volunteers. She has been with us for about a month now, and we would love for her to find her forever family.
CARFIE Of The Week: Elisa

Who remembers Elisa? It's been a while since we rescued her and she has been in our care for over two years already. Elisa was found with her leg and torso full of bullets (!) at Playa Forti by our friends of Scuba Lodge Dive Center. They were able to bring her back to the Pietermaai District, and our volunteers were then able to rush her to our vet. One of her legs was broken because of being shot at with hail. Life hasn't always been smooth sailing for Elisa, but she is fully recovered and ready to be adopted.
CARFIE Of The Week: Sniffy

Sniffy is about 5.5 years old and has spent most of his life in our care. His previous owner didn't take good care of him. He lived trapped on a small balcony, with his own feces and urine all over the place. He was totally neglected, emaciated, and ill. He had no proper shelter, no fresh water, no human contact, and he was covered in ticks. After a rough start in life, and waiting years to be adopted, Sniffy really deserves a loving home!
